Whenever we eat the body of Christ in remembrance of this very moment that He gave this command, His presence and profound Greatness is manifested in us and in our midst. By this very act of self-giving sacrifice, Jesus established a New Covenant relationship made possible through His blood. So, Communion becomes a visible sign of this spiritual reality. When we partake of this Communion as an act of Worship, we proclaim the Lord’s death and resurrection until He comes again. In the process, we are ushered into this New Covenant relationship, transformed by grace to become a New Creation.
