The Sermon on the mount is a teaching on how to elevate and become perfect as our heavenly Father is. However, it requires to stand out from the crowd by doing the uncommon for the sake of this transformation. The Lord taught the Sermon meaning it is possible by His Grace and Power.
Let us strive to fix our eyes on Jesus who is the leader and perfecter of our faith. (Heb 12:2)
