Our mission is to spread the Good News of Christ through this podcast to the entire world as the Lord commanded us to do in Mark (16:15); He said to them, “Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature.” This also means that the resurrection of Jesus is not just an event anymore but it becomes the best thing that ever happened to every believer of Christ. Jesus resurrected to give us power and to be radiant knowing for sure that eternal life is a reality, hence death is not the end, all we have to do is to work out our relationship with Jesus; keep our focus on him no matter what we face in this life and trust Him by all means. Each of our topics reflect a personal walk with the Lord and it becomes a testament of His goodness and faithfulness unveiled through our real life situations, but enriched by the Word of God to draw us back to seeking the Lord in a more personal way.
This podcast began in October 2020 during covid when there was so much fear, anxiety and uncertainty in the world. It so happened that when I realized that even the churches had closed the doors, I felt shattered and I went to pray and ask the Lord; how is it that the only place that we could go to seek solace and connect to our maker in faith has now closed doors. Before long there emerged online services and Bible studies which really gladdened my heart and I believed it was a prayer answered. So, with time, we got an opportunity to do bible study and embarked on more prayers for the world. Even without knowing, I realized that I began to feel consoled by the Lord and encouraged each day to keep my Eyes Fixed on Him and not on the negative things that were going on in the world.
Before I knew it, I began to develop a deep longing to want to know what the Lord thinks about each day so I could use the Word to meditate on each day seeking to apply it in my life for peace and serenity. So I would pray in the morning and read the Bible intentionally seeking the Lord’s direction. As I learnt to do this, it got very interesting as the Lord would give me inspiration and with so much joy in my heart, I began to record it and share with my friends. With time I realized that I developed an inner joy and peace that came into my heart when I shared about Jesus.
Even though, I was sending these recordings on whats app, I had no plans to do a podcast in fact I did not even image it to begin with. However, one person mentioned it to me and gave me a name which I searched and recorded and sent only to those same people. It had never occurred to me that it would go any further than a friends circle, but today I know now What God Cannot Do Does not Exist.
Over the years, the Lord Jesus has taken me on a very interesting path and given me the grace to experience Him through different situations and circumstances and it is my joy and delight to keep sharing this bread of life because like on the road to Emmaus story in (Luke 24:13), Cleopas and his partner could not recognize who Jesus was until while at His house, He broke the bread and gave it to them (Luke 24:30-35). Their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus and He vanished from them but they knew what they needed to do and they set off on a journey back to Jerusalem. In this story we recognize that their journey back was a joyful spirit filled one while on the road to Emmaus, was a helpless, faithless one. The same way today we experience encouragement, joy, peace and freedom from negative thinking when we encounter the Lord Jesus through prayer, worship, reading the Bible and sharing the Good News. The Lord also gives us a clear direction for our lives so we can live a life of purpose.
